We collect only what is necessary to operate the app. We do not collect location data, financial information, or any sensitive personal data. Here is exactly what we collect and why.
Personal Information
When you create an account, you provide:
- Name: so we can address you personally within the app
- Email address: to create and manage your account, and to contact you about important updates
We do not require a phone number, date of birth, or any government-issued identification.
Usage Data (auto-collected)
When you use the app, we automatically collect limited technical data to keep it running reliably:
- Device type and operating system: to ensure compatibility and optimise the app experience for your device
- Crash logs: to identify and fix bugs when the app stops working correctly
We do not collect data on which articles you read, how long you spend on individual videos, your scroll behaviour, or any form of behavioural tracking at this time.
03. How We Use Your Data
What your data actually does.
Every piece of data we collect has a specific job. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties. Here is what we do with it:
- Name and email: to manage your account and send important service-related communications
- Device type and OS: to ensure the app works correctly on your device
- Crash logs: to debug issues and improve app stability
- Email: to provide customer support when you contact us at hi@ampmnetwork.com
We do not use your data to serve targeted advertisements. We do not build behavioural profiles. We do not share your data with advertisers.
04. Data Storage & Security
How we protect what you share with us.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices. Access to personal data is restricted to team members who need it to operate and support the app.
We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as required to provide you with the service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hi@ampmnetwork.com.
05. Your Rights
You are in control of your data.
You have the right to:
- Deletion: request that we delete your account and personal data

06. Third Parties
Who else touches your data.
AM:PM does not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties.
We may use third-party service providers to help operate the app, for example, cloud hosting or crash reporting tools. These providers are contractually required to handle your data only as instructed by us and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
AM:PM links to and surfaces content from third-party news sources. When you access a third-party link, you leave the AM:PM app and that publisher's own privacy policy applies. We have no control over and take no responsibility for third-party content or data practices.
07. Changes to This Policy
We will tell you when this changes.
We may update this Privacy Policy as AM:PM grows and our data practices evolve. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or by email before the changes take effect.
The date at the top of this document reflects when it was last updated. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
